Lotlot de Leon touched the hearts of many on social media as she visited the grave of her late mother, the iconic Superstar and National Artist, Nora Aunor.

On Friday, May 9, 2025, the actress took to Instagram to post a touching family photo with her children at the Libingan ng mga Bayani, where Nora’s remains were laid to rest.

The photograph showed Lotlot surrounded by loved ones, including her brother Kiko and her four children Diego, Maxine, Jessica, and Janine. Janine’s boyfriend, Jericho Rosales, was also present.

Lotlot de Leon was seen with her children Janine Gutierrez, Diego Gutierrez, Maxine Gutierrez, and Jessica Gutierrez. Her brother Kiko de Leon and Janine’s boyfriend Jericho Rosales also accompanied her.

Alongside this tender image, Lotlot expressed her appreciation for the well-kept condition of her mother’s grave.

“Two days ago we visited mom with her apos and echo and my brother Kiko. Maayos na yung lugar where mom’s at,” she wrote in the caption of her Instagram post.

Lotlot was also grateful for the outpouring of love and admiration her mother continues to receive more than two weeks after the Superstar’s passing.

“At araw-araw marami pa din bumibisita sa kanya.

“There are times I wait in the car when I visit her pag maraming tao.. And I see how they pay their respects to mom. Salamat sa pagmamahal niyo sa kanya.

“Thank you sa inyo na dumadalaw at lagi kayo may dalang bagong kandila at bulaklak para kay Mommy.

“I’m sure she’s smiling from up above and masaya siya. Thank you for always praying for her too.”

She also thanked the officers and staff of Libingan ng mga Bayani for their consistent assistance.

“Maayos na yung place ng mommy.. sobrang linis at ganda. I’m really grateful sa malasakit niyo.

“Mula sa aking puso, Mahal ko kayo at maraming salamat…”

 

In the comments, many were moved by Lotlot visiting her mom’s grave with her family.

Some netizens also expressed their desire to visit Nora’s grave soon.

Nora Aunor died on April 16, 2025 at the age of 71.

Her son, Ian de Leon, stated in an interview that she succumbed to acute respiratory failure.

 

She was hospitalized in Pasig for a week before passing away, surrounded by her children, at 9:53 PM.
