Kris Aquino isn’t exactly a person of few words.

But the “I Love You, Hater” star did manage to keep her message for her former husband James Yap on the day of what would have been their 13th wedding anniversary relatively short, compared to the rants she had about him just a couple of months ago.
 

On Instagram on Tuesday, she said that while “fate” steered her and Yap towards different directions, she remains grateful for their relationship solely because of their son Bimby, “one of [her] two greatest achievements.”

“I sincerely wish you and your growing family peace and lasting happiness,” she wrote, adding hashtags that insinuated that she’s at “peace” with what had happened between them.

Yap, for his part, said he didn’t mean anything malicious when he said that he misses Bimby in his birthday greeting for his son.
 

Aquino and Yap were married in 2005 but separated five years later. Their marriage was annulled in 2012.
