Gerald Anderson visited the noontime show “Eat Bulaga” on Wednesday, June 25, joining in the fun as part of the cast of the “Sugod Bahay, Mga Kapatid” segment.

Anderson surprised the viewers after he appeared as the bodyguard of Jose Manalo’s Mayor. He accompanied Paolo Ballesteros and Wally Bayola in hosting the segment, which was held in Taguig City.

The actor then sent fans gushing after he gave focus and expressed his admiration to his girlfriend, actress Julia Barretto, who serves as a show co-host.

“Pwede po bang i-close up nang konti?” Anderson said as the camera panned to Barretto who was in the studio. “Parang maganda po ‘yan ah.” (Can we do a close up shot? She looks pretty.)

“Hi, Ms. Julia. Pwede ba kitang dalawin d’yan minsan? (Hi, Ms. Julia. Can I visit you there some time?)” he quipped, to which the actress replied, “Kailangan mo munang magpaalam sa aking mga pamilya dito.” (You need to ask permission first from my family here.)

After their exchange, Anderson then promoted his upcoming crime drama series “Sins of the Father.”

Aside from Anderson, “Sins of the Father” stars John Arcilla, Shaina Magdayao, JC de Vera, RK Bagatsing, Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin. The series premiered on June 23.

Meanwhile, Barreto started joining the “Eat Bulaga” gang as host since May.
