According to Sharon, she was hurt by the malicious attacks directed at Frankie Pangilinan to the point that some even compared her daughter’s physical appearance to that of KC Concepcion.
She said before bursting to tears, “Of course she’s beautiful. She’s the daughter of a matinee idol.”
KC is the daughter of Sharon with actor Gabby Concepcion while Frankie is the eldest daughter of Sharon with Senator Francis “Kiko Pangilinan.”
Sharon then turned to Frankie, who’s in the same room as her, and said, “I’m so sorry, hun. You [Frankie] don’t deserve that.
“And in the end, that’s not what matters, you know? Physical beauty fades.
“They shouldn’t do that to sisters, they shouldn’t do that to children, and most importantly, they shouldn’t do that to siblings. You shouldn’t do that to women.

“I’ll be keeping my distance from social media as much as possible while still occasionally helping spread awareness for things that matter.
“I hope you understand and I love you so much.”
Early Thursday morning, Frankie clarified that she’s taking a hiatus, not because of the insults and accusations she’s received from voicing her opinions online.
Adding, “To clarify, this isn’t why. The mudslinging has been happening for years.”
