Gene Padilla recently reached out to his followers for prayers as his mother was brought to the emergency room.

On Friday, July 18, the comedian and actor shared a video where his mom, Catalina Dominguez, could be seen being taken to the hospital.

In the caption, Gene pleaded for healing prayers for his elderly mother.

“Hinihiling ko po ang inyong mga dasal para sa aking ina na kasalukuyang nasa Emergency Room,” he emotionally wrote.

“Nawa’y bigyan siya ng Panginoon ng kagalingan at kalakasan,” the veteran comedian added.

No further details have been disclosed regarding his mother’s condition, but Gene’s post has resonated with many, garnering messages of sympathy and well-wishes.

A couple of days ago, the comedian published emotional posts where he mentioned that Catalina has been “going through something with her health.”

“Mga kaibigan, humihingi po ako ng konting dasal para kay Mama. She’s going through something with her health right now, and I’m praying for her complete healing, strength, and comfort.. Lord, please lay Your healing hands upon her.”

“Sa mga nakakabasa nito, please include her in your prayers. Maraming salamat,” he wrote along with a video of his beloved mother.

“Panginoon.. Pawiin Mo po ang kanyang mga sakit, Ngayon po, ang nais ko’y ginhawa po sa mga nararamdaman nya… Pagpalain Mo po siya, ngayon at araw-araw. Amen,” he earnestly wrote in another post, accompanied by a photo of the two of them.

Gene Padilla is the brother of Dennis Padilla, a Filipino entertainer known for his work as a comedian and actor. He is the son of the late comedian Dencio Padilla. Over the years, he has been featured in numerous films and television series, showcasing his versatility as a performer.
