On Saturday, July 19, Iza shared a now-viral video of Deia Amihan taking charge behind the camera, showcasing what she fondly described as her daughter being in her ‘directorial era.’

In the video, little Deia can be seen attempting to direct her mother, who is sitting in front of the lens. The lighthearted and tender moment captured the attention of many online, as Deia exuded confidence and playfulness in her new role as ‘Direk’ which many found to be very adorable.

 

“She’s often the star in our videos, but behind the scenes she loves holding the camera just as much. She watches, films, and now even gives directions. Maybe a director in the making? We’ll see! Direk Deia, your Lolo Lito is proudly smiling!” Iza wrote in her caption, endearingly referring to her daughter as “Direk,” the Tagalog version of the word “Director” in the world of show business.

The heartwarming post quickly attracted comments from local celebrities, who were clearly charmed by the budding filmmaker. Bela Padilla quipped, “Direk Deia: “Hay nako, why does she not know her lines, where did we get this girl?’” while Rhian Ramos wrote, “An actor’s director!”

Other well-known personalities such as Nikki Gil, Isabelle Daza, and Bianca Gonzalez also shared their reactions, joining the chorus of support and amusement over the delightful moment online.
