Daniel Padilla adds another feather to his cap as he is named the Outstanding Asian Star for the Philippines at the 2025 Seoul International Drama Awards.

Daniel Padilla has earned international acclaim for his role in the hit Kapamilya action-drama series Incognito, securing the Outstanding Asian Star award at the 2025 Seoul International Drama Awards.
The actor’s win was officially confirmed by his talent management, Star Magic, marking another milestone in Daniel’s career as he continues to gain recognition beyond the Philippines.
On Friday, July 25, 2025, ASAP’s official Instagram page posted a congratulatory message to the actor for his victory.
They wrote, “Big congratulations to Daniel Padilla for earning global recognition as the Philippines’ Outstanding Asian Star at the 2025 Seoul International Drama Awards for his performance in Incognito!
“Your talent continues to shine on the world stage — we’re proud of you, DJ!”
This marks Daniel’s first win and second nomination in this prestigious category.
He was previously nominated for his role in 2 Good 2 Be True at the 2023 Seoul International Drama Awards, where he starred alongside his former girlfriend, Kathryn Bernardo, who was also nominated in the same category.

The Outstanding Asian Star Award honors actors from across Asia, selected through fan votes via the Idol Champ app.
It recognizes exceptional television performances that resonate with audiences beyond their home countries.
Aside from Daniel, several Filipino actors have won this award in recent years.
In 2024, Kim Chiu received the honor for her role as Juliana Lualhati in the drama series Linlang.
