Kris Aquino’s close friend, Dindo Balares, took to social media to clarify that rumors about the television host’s passing are completely false.

Dindo shared that he personally spoke with Kris recently.

“Nagkakontakan kami ni Krisy sa messaging app kinagabihan, and yes, good news, she’s really alive! Sinabi ko ang kumakalat na death hoax sa ilang diyaryo,” he wrote on his Facebook page.

He then shared the conversation he had with Kris, where the television host suggested that the hoax may have started because of her recent medical results.

“‘Maybe coming from here,’ reply niya na sinundan ng pictures na kuha sa kanya sa hospital bed. ‘You know my BP (blood pressure) was going crazy. My WBC (white blood cells) dropped. Waiting for my doctors to explain.’ Nag-send siya ng photos kuha sa resulta ng kanyang blood pressure monitor,” he recounted.

Dindo relayed that Kris had to be taken to the hospital due to high blood pressure.

“‘My BP NOW. Scary,’ mensahe niya. ‘When I reached 172/112 – I told Alvin (Kris’s longtime assistant) to call St. Luke’s for an ambulance.’ Kasunod ang isa sa mga katangiang minamahal ng buong pamilya kay Kris. ‘I don’t want you to worry, kuya Dindo. Kaya pa.’”

He went on to share the good news Kris received from her doctors: “In high spirits si Kris, dahil: ‘They checked if i had more blood clots. Dindo then shared a message for the followers of Kris. “Para sa kanyang followers, please don’t worry. Marami pa ring dinaramdam at ginagamot kay Kris. Pero lagi pa ring matapang sa buhay. Siya na mismo ang nagsabi, kaya pa!” he remarked.
