You can take Travis Kelce away from the 49ers but you apparently can’t keep the 49ers away from Travis Kelce.

According to the New York Post, Kelce had a “run-in” with 49ers star running back Christian McCaffrey at one point. The run-in took place in Malibu on Wednesday and was described as “pleasant.”

“Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey appeared to have a pleasant run-in at Nobu in Malibu on Wednesday, just two weeks after Kansas City became repeat champions in a 25-22 overtime win against San Francisco in Super Bowl 2024,” the Post reported.

“The NFL stars, along with McCaffrey’s fiancée, model Olivia Culpo, were photographed leaving separately.”

McCaffrey was there with his fiancée Olivia Culpo and Culpo’s sisters for the launch of Dolce Glow self-tanner, which also took place in Malibu.

Taylor Swift is currently on tour and expected to perform in Singapore as part of her ongoing Eras Tour. We know that Kelce was at the tour for part of it but has remained stateside in recent weeks for the Super Bowl victory parade in Kansas City and other media opportunities.

On the field, Kelce and McCaffrey battled fiercely during the Super Bowl LVIII. Per the New York Post, it’s not clear if Kelce and McCaffrey are actually friends or not. McCaffrey and Culpo are expected to be married in Rhode Island later this year.
