BIG3, the popular basketball league co-founded by rapper Ice Cube, has scored a significant victory ahead of its upcoming season. The league has struck a partnership with X, the social media platform owned by Elon Musk, to complement CBS coverage of the 3-on-3 basketball competition.

This groundbreaking collaboration will see X streaming BIG3 games live throughout the 2024 season, alongside CBS broadcasts. Additionally, X will offer exclusive behind-the-scenes content, providing fans with unprecedented access to the action.

Ice Cube, in announcing the partnership, expressed excitement for the upcoming season, stating, “This season we’re COMING IN HоT on X.” Meanwhile, Jamie Bierman, X’s Strategy & Operations executive, welcomed BIG3 to the platform, emphasizing their commitment to changing the game, culture, and world.

The highly anticipated new season of BIG3 is set to kιck off on June 15, promising an electrifying showcase of 3-on-3 basketball talent.

Founded in 2017 by Ice Cube and entertainment executive Jeff Kwatinetz, BIG3 features 12 teams comprised of former NBA players. Last season, the Enemies emerged as champions, led by ex-Lakers guard Nick Young and former Wizards guard Jordan Crawford. Notable NBA figures like Gilbert Arenas and Joe Johnson have also left their mark on the league, with Johnson clinching the 2023 BIG3 MVP award.

The league reached a milestone last season when Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown participated in the All-Star Game at London’s O2 Arena, becoming the first active NBA player to compete in a BIG3 game.
