“Eagles’ Jasoп Kelce Uпdecided oп NFL Fυtυre, Eagles GM Reveals; Fletcher Cox Also Coпtemplatiпg Retυrп”

Eagles general manager Howie Roseman says he is still waiting to hear whether Jason Kelce and Fletcher Cox will return to Philadelphia for another season or bring the curtain down on their respective careers.

Both Kelce and Cox have been foundational players with the Eagles over the past 10 years and will go down in history as team legends – if not Hall of Famers.

Kelce in particular has cemented a legacy as one of the greatest centers in NFL history during his time in Philadelphia, but three months on from his 36th birthday – and following his 13th season with the Eagles – is now considering hanging up his cleats.

Defensive tackle Cox has also spent the last 12 years at Lincoln Financial Field, and both men remain unsure about their futures.

‘Obviously, those guys are unbelievable players, unbelievable people, and they deserve the right to decide what’s best for them,’ said Roseman.

‘We’ll wait and give them whatever time and space they need to make the right decisions. I think the important thing from our perspective is you never want to see them wearing different colors.

‘I think for us, no matter when that is, if they want the opportunity to come back, we’d want to have the opportunity to bring them back.’

The 36-year-old Kelce has been the Eagles center since he was selected in the 6th round back in 2011, and has earned six All-Pro nods and seven Pro Bowl selections throughout his career.

Cox was selected with the No. 12 overall pick the next season in 2012 and has gone on to become one of the most dominant defensive lineman in the league for over a decade.

During his career the Mississippi State alum has recorded 519 total tackles, 70 sacks, and 88 tackles for loss.

Cox has been named to six Pro Bowls during his career and was also named an All-Pro.

Philadelphia is currently set to enter free agency with $27.4million in salary cap space and are planning to ‘aggressively’ pursue free agents according to Roseman.

Just how aggressive the team will actually be able to be going after new players will certainly be impacted by the decisions of their two aging star lineman.
