Leila Alcasid was the picture of understated elegance in her bridal gown.

On May 29, 2025, she and rapper Miguel “Mito” Fabie IV, also known as Curtismith, exchanged vows in a cozy wedding ceremony set in a sunny Sydney garden.

Leila wore a stunning gown designed by Filipino designer Martin Bautista.

The design was minimalist, with a sleek silhouette that accentuated her figure.

A high neckline lent an air of sophistication, while a delicate cape created a soft, dramatic effect.

In an exclusive interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Martin shared his inspiration for Leila’s wedding gown.

He said: “The idea is to create a dress that has a simplistic beauty to it, but has that subtle bridal spirit to it since I know this is going to be for an intimate wedding- designed to compliment, flatter Leila’s figure and frame her beautiful face.”

Martin added: “The material I used for the body of the dress is Italian crepe in ivory and I draped this beautiful creme stretch tulle around the neckline that flows around the shoulder as a cape.

“I used the same material draped around the the skirt coming from her hips.”

What was it like working with the bride?

“I’m so blessed and lucky to be working with such a gorgeous bride.

“She had a couple of ideas and references and I just tried my best to interpret that with my own design language.

“We only had two fittings to complete this look. It was such a pleasure working with her, and just all fun and exciting energy everytime I see her!”

To complete her look, Leila donned a pair of Jimmy Choo Aurelie 85 white pumps adorned with pearl embellishments.

These stylish heels are priced at GBP 725, approximately PHP 54,663.62.

Leila and Curtismith were together for five wonderful years before getting married.

They began their relationship in 2019 and went public with it in March of the same year.

On September 29, 2024, their 5th anniversary, the couple announced their engagement.

They shared this happy news via a joint Instagram post, where Leila flashed her pear-shaped diamond engagement ring, describing it as “the most special anniversary gift.”
