Jillian Ward recently revealed that her mother, Jennifer, became pregnant with her at the age of 19 and had second thoughts about keeping her due to her youth.

A Candid Revelation

In the latest episode of “My Mother, My Story,” the Sparkle star opened up about her relationship with her mother, acknowledging the doubts her mother had during the pregnancy.

“Of course, I’m more grateful to be alive today,” Jillian shared. “I want to prove to my mom that her decision to keep me was not wrong. She was younger then and scared, but that was in the past.”

Understanding and Acceptance

Jillian emphasized that she never felt anger or disappointment towards her mother for reconsidering the pregnancy. “She was very young then, so naturally, she had fears,” Jillian explained.

Proving Her Mother’s Decision Right

Determined to make her mother proud, Jillian aims to show that her mother made the right choice. “I want to show her that you made the right choice, and there’s nothing to fear anymore because we’re here,” she said.

A Close Bond

Jillian has always maintained a close relationship with her mother, often expressing her gratitude and love. In 2022, she thanked her parents for gifting her a BMW M-Sport Car, saying, “Thank you Mama and Papa for my new taping car!”
