South Korean model and reality TV star Kim Jong Suk has recently passed away. He was 29 years old.

According to an article by Koreaboo, media reports say Jong Suk died on June 4, 2025. The cause of his sudden death has not been disclosed to the public.

Meanwhile, his family has taken to social media to issue a statement urging people to stop spreading rumors about the late model.

“We are in the middle of funeral preparations, overwhelmed and heartbroken. But I’m seeing so many baseless and false claims spreading across online communities,” Jong Suk’s sister wrote in an emotional plea, as per AllKpop’s report.

“At first, we chose not to respond, hoping Jong Suk could rest in peace. But now, it has gone too far,” she lamented.

She also revealed plans to file a report with the cyber investigation unit against defamatory posts and misinformation and mentioned that they had requested the removal of misleading reports.

“I’ve requested the removal of these articles. We will soon release a summary of the police recording and a statement from the friend who was with him at the time,” she underscored.

Jong Suk’s funeral was held on the morning of June 6 at the Maru Park Funeral Home in Hanam. He was laid to rest at Chuncheon Rest Garden and Yanggu Memorial Park.

Jong Suk was a model for the cosmetic brand DASHU. He started rising to fame with his appearance on tvN‘s variety show in 2022, “The Skip Dating,” hosted by Yoo Jae Suk, Jeon So Min, and Nuksal.
