In a joint Instagram post with wife Felicia, Kim Atienza on Friday morning announced the “unexpected passing” of daughter Emman.

“It’s with deep sadness that we share the unexpected passing of our daughter and sister, Emman,” the statement began.

“She brought so much joy, laughter, and love int our lives and into the lives of everyone who knew her,” they continued, describing Emman as someone who made “people feel seen and heard.”

“She wasn’t afraid to share her own journey with mental health. Her authenticity helped so many feel less alone,” they added.

The Atienza family asked their followers to “carry forward the qualities she lived by: compassion, courage and a little extra kindness in your everyday life.”

The 19-year-old Emmanuelle is a Sparkle talent who accompanied her father at the first GMA Gala. In his greeting for her 16th birthday, Kuya Kim told Emman “you will be papa and mama’s baby forever!”

A TikTok personality, she occasionally trends on social media. Last month, amid the anomalous flood control issues and the subsequent “nepo babies” topic, she went viral for defending her family’s financial means, saying it’s her mom Felicia who is their bread winner.
