Kris Aquino in new health update: 'Tuloy pa rin ang laban'

Kris Aquino has shared the latest about her health in a new Instagram update.

The Queen of All Media said she was preparing to undergo treatment when her doctor, Dr. Geraldine Zamora, “saw something in my blood panel results that she found alarming.”

“She convinced me to have an ultrasound (it’s not this one) done yesterday; with all my hospitalizations, I can already tell na dapat na kong kabahan pag umakyat na yung senior technician,” she said.

Kris added that she had more tests and three different specialists came to explain to her, “and how important it was to not delay because I would be endangering my life further.”

“Parang kulang pa ‘yung mahirap nang bilangin na ‘life-threatening’ autoimmune diseases ko,” she said.

Since she was confined, Kris said her son Bimby has not been sleeping well. She was also visited by her eldest son, Josh.

Kris also said that she chose to trust the Filipino doctors rather than to take medicine she is unsure of, “especially because I just finished a big dose of a strong immunosuppressant and I am continuing with two immunosuppressants and so much more supplements, antihistamines, and important vitamins.”

To end her update, Kris asked for prayers for her doctors, their assistants, her nurses, and technicians.

“’Wag sana kayo sumuko sa pagdasal dahil kumukuha ako ng lakas galing sa kabutihang loob ninyo,” she said and added tha hashtags #PleaseWagSumuko and #TuloyPaRinAngLaban.

Last week, Kris said she had to undergo preventive isolation for six months.

In April, Kris revealed that she has nine autoimmune diseases. She underwent another medical procedure that month.

In February, Kris made her first public appearance to attend the People Asia People of the Year 2025 awards night and showed support for her friend Michael Leyva.
