Fans of Coco Martin and Julia Montes are abuzz anew after the actor was heard addressing the latter as “Nanay” during the premiere night of her Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) film “Topakk.”

In the clip shared on Martin’s TikTok page, the actor was seen in attendance alongside Montes at the film premiere. Martin, who was holding a bouquet of flowers, called Montes who was facing the opposite direction.

“Nanay! Para sa’yo (Nanay, this is for you),” Martin said, gently holding the actress arm and handing her the flowers, further fueling longstanding rumors that the actress had given birth to their child when she left the entertainment scene for a few years. The couple have yet to address these rumors.

Earlier, TV host Willie Revillame seemingly had a slip of the tongue after he thanked the couple and their “children” via his show “Wil To Win.” The couple also did not immediately comment on this.

Martin and Montes, who have been very private about their relationship, only confirmed their romance in May 2023. The couple didn’t disclose when their relationship started, although the actor said at the time that they had been “together” for 12 years.

In an interview in October of the same year, Montes spoke about their rumored engagement which surfaced after she was spotted wearing a huge diamond ring. The actress, however, neither confirmed nor denied this, only saying, “Let’s cross the bridge when we get there.”
