Anushka Sharma and his cricketer husband, Virat Kohli, have received invitations to attend the ‘Pran Pratistha’ ceremony of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22. This ceremony marks the consecration of the deity in the newly constructed temple.
Kohli has joined the ranks of esteemed cricketers invited to the ceremony, following in the footsteps of Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni.
Tendulkar extended the invitation at his Mumbai residence on January 13, and Dhoni his invitation on January 15.
With Ayodhya preparing for the significant ceremony, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appealed to all devotees not to join the city on the day of blessing. In his urging, the Prime Minister emphasised that the public would have the opportunity to visit the temple after the formal program concludes on January 22.
The historic event of the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony, symbolising the consecration of the idol of Ram Lalla in the grand temple, will be overseen by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The ceremonial enthronement of Ram Lalla is scheduled to unfold in Ayodhya. This significant occasion holds immense cultural and religious importance, marking the completion of a long-cherished dream for many devotees.
