New Delhi: Dating rumours of Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have been doing the rounds for a long time now. Recently there were reports about their engagement which was later denied by people close to the couple. Now going by Rashmika’s recent post, it seems the two went on a trip to Vietnam together.
In her recent Instagram post, actor Rashmika Mandanna shared glimpses of her exploration in Vietnam, accompanied by a caption expressing her fascination with a particular bamboo hat, which she could not resist bringing home.
She posted a couple of photos wearing the traditional Vietnamese hat and wrote, “Was so obsessed with this hat that it came back home with me.. 😄😄❤️
Interestingly, earlier this month, her rumored boyfriend, Vijay Deverakonda, had also posted pictures of himself in the vibrant streets of Vietnam.
The on-screen chemistry between Rashmika and Vijay, showcased in films like “Dear Comrade” and “Geetha Govindam,” has garnered them a dedicated fan base. Fans often seize any opportunity they can to aid the speculation that the two actors are a couple.
They cheekingly commented on Rashmika’s post saying, “Where is Vijay” and “I think this hat belongs to Vijay Deverakonda.”
They have not officially confirmed their relationship, but fans persistently draw connections from subtle hints dropped by the actors.
A month ago, the duo was spotted wearing the same hoodie in different locations—Rashmika at the Mumbai airport and Vijay at the Telangana Legislative Assembly elections.
The month before that, at Animal’s trailer launch, Rashmika defended Vijay’s film, Arjun Reddy and Shahid’s Kabir Singh, saying that director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s approach is unapologetically realistic.
“When I watched Kabir Singh or Arjun Reddy, I didn’t think they were violent films. They were high in intensity. The same is with Animal, where you see a little bit of violence. The film is also high in emotions. Sandeep, as a director, is an unapologetic real. People sugarcoat things for the screen, he doesn’t do that,” the actress expressed.
On the work front, Vijay and Rashmika may reunite on screen for a film with director Gowtam Tinnanuri.
