In a past appearance on the famous chat show The Late Late Show with James Corden, recalled an incident encountered at the New York Airport with her mother. The Fast And Furious actor was asked by the show host if ever she and her mother have commented on unknown people in their mother tongue. The actor went on to explain a sticky situation involving her native language with a stranger at the New York Airport. She said-

“I was taking a flight to New York and this guy was very rude. My mom and I were just ripping into him thinking that he couldn’t understand a word. And then he turned around and stared at us and said….. ( speaking in Afrikaans). We had no comeback”

Charlize Theron further mentioned that she was totally taken aback by the stranger talking to her in her native language Afrikaans. According to the stats, only a few people in the USA speak Afrikaans, which forms a very small percentage. The situation left the actor embarrassed as she could not think of a valid response to the stranger.

Charlize Theron was shining bright during her recent outing. The 48-year-old actor stepped out in style for the opening of Breitling’s Meatpacking Boutique in New York City. She was seen wearing a dazzling pearl embossed top which was paired with an oversized black blazer and a black maxi skirt for the occasion. She had paired the ensemble attire with casual and comfortable flat sandals.

The Hancock actor took to her Instagram and posted a picture in her dress with a caption that read as

“Pearl’s night out”

The Snow White And The Huntsman actor has previously collaborated with the Swiss watch-making company. She was also present for the gathering as a member of Breitling’s Spotlight Squad, in order to connect women with the luxury brand in November 2021.

Reputed ballet dancer Misty Copeland was also present for the reopening of Breitling’s New York flagship store along with Charlize Theron, where they even spoke about the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing, and vaccines. The actor wore a light-colored silk dress along with an oversized black blazer. Charlize Theron comes under the category of one of the nicely dressed personalities in Hollywood.
