Dingdong Dantes marked his tenth wedding anniversary with Marian Rivera by sharing their prenuptial photos taken in Dubai a decade ago.

“Just hanging out in the Dubai desert some 10 years ago,” he posted on his Instagram page as he shared the said photos from the pictorial shot by Mark Nicdao.

Fans online were quick to extend their greetings to the couple.

“Congratulations! Happy 10th years Wedding Anniversary of Love and 💕 Togetherness. May your love story keep on inspiring us all 💕,” one fan commented.

“DongYan Forever❤️ Happy 10th Anniversary my favorite couple ❤️,” another fan said.

In an interview last November, Marian shared that they would hold an intimate gathering to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary this year. She also teased that there were plans to renew their wedding vows.

“Very simple (gathering) with family… My husband is the one planning it. With Dong kasi, he is a bit sentimental,” the actress shared as reported by PhilStar.

The actress went on: “For me, the mere fact that we’re together, that our relationship is good, and that our children are doing well, that’s enough for me. But Dong really said, ‘No, I want us to celebrate this because we’ve been blessed by the Lord for 10 years and He has never forsaken us. We need to offer everything to Him. Not for anyone else, but for Him.”

“So, I said, ‘Yes! Sige, go! Amen. Okay.’ He got me to say yes right away.”

Marian attributed the success of their marriage to God.

“I don’t think I’m in a position to say what the formula is. Nobody is perfect in a relationship. But maybe what’s good is that both of us know that God is really at the center… He’s the center of everything. Whatever happens to us, He’s always there.”

Dingdong and Marian tied the knot on December 30, 2014 at the Immaculate Conception Church in Cubao, on December 30, 2014.

Dingdong picked the church as their wedding venue as it was where he was baptized. “There’s a sense of going back to where you started,” the actor said in a past interview.
