Taylor Swift departed Australia after her father, Scott, was accused of assaulting a local photographer on Tuesday morning.
The American singer’s private jet was spotted leaving Sydney Airport shortly after the alleged incident, following her final Eras Tour concert in the city on Monday night.
The Bombardier Global 6000, utilized by Taylor for her travel to Australia, was observed taxiing down the runway around midday, reportedly carrying Taylor’s team and her father.
Taylor concluded her successful run of seven sell-out concerts across Melbourne and Sydney on Monday night, with a brief break before her scheduled performance in Singapore on March 2.
Her departure coincided with accusations against her father, Scott Swift, 71, who allegedly struck Ben McDonald, 51, at a ferry wharf in the suburb of Neutral Bay after the Australian leg of her Eras tour concluded.
According to Taylor’s team, the photographer was accused of threatening Taylor’s staff, while Mr. McDonald refuted these claims, stating that Taylor was the only female present during the altercation.
An investigation into the alleged incident has been initiated by the North Shore Police Command.
This incident comes after Scott’s previous gestures of kindness during Taylor’s tour, including distributing sandwiches to fans during a Sydney show and providing VIP passes to attendees with limited stage views in Melbourne.
