Kansas City Chiefs: Head Coach Andy Reid Reveals the 1 Thing Taylor Swift Did that “Won Over” Travis Kelce’s Teammates (VIDEO)

Ever since September, the Kansas City Chiefs have been one of the biggest topics surrounding the NFL. Not only were they defending champions to start the 2023 NFL season, but star tight end Travis Kelce and popstar Taylor Swift made their relationship public. Every Sunday, fans, old and new, tuned into Chiefs games to see if Swift would be in attendance.

Oftentimes, she was. As the season went on, their relationship was the subject of conversation and debate in nearly every major media market. With the Chiefs winning the Super Bowl again, their relationship was placed in an even brighter spotlight than it already was.

With so much attention to one player, especially for something that did not have anything to do with what was happening on the field, it might have been understandable if teammates were annoyed with the hype. They were not, and head coach Andy Reid recently revealed on thing Swift did that won over Kelce’s teammates.

It may be just a few weeks since the Chiefs won Super Bowl LVIII against the San Francisco 49ers, but there is really no such thing as an offseason for a NFL head coach. Andy Reid is currently in attendance at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Indiana.

On Tuesday, Reid sat down with NBC’s Chris Simms, who asked Reid how Swift won over Kelce’s teammates amidst the flurry of extra media attention the team was getting. The head coach revealed that she made the team homemade pop-tarts and other sweet treats:  “Behind the scenes, she likes to cook,” Reid said. And as to how to best win over a locker room of football players, “She knew right where to go.”

For his part, Reid said he did not really worry about the extra attention his team was getting because of Swift:

“I really didn’t worry about it. I knew her dad and her mom. And I had met her when she was young.”

It appears that Reid may be a lot cooler than people give him credit for.

He also praised Swift as the most famous woman in the world since the Queen of England passed away.

One thing he did bemoan, however, was that neither Swift nor the Chiefs players shared the pop-tarts with him.
