Scottie Thompson took to Facebook on Monday to shed some light on the issue surrounding his breakup with longtime girlfriend and fiancé Pau Fajardo and eventual marriage to a certain Jinky Serrano.

The 27-year old Brgy. Ginebra guard is the current talk of the town following reports that he and Serrano tied the knot earlier this month in a private ceremony in Las Pinas City.

A good number of Gin King fans criticized the move especially since Thompson posted a video of his engagement with Fajardo during New Year’s Eve on his YouTube account.

Videos and photos of and with Fajardo has since been removed on the former Perpetual Help standout’s social media accounts.

“Two months na kaming hiwalay, kita nyo nang deleted mga pics bawat isa sa amin. Bawal bang may privacy,” wrote Thompson in a message which was deleted not long after being posted. “Gusto manahimik ng tao nangingialam kayo. Buhay nyo ba to? Okay sige, dahil ito gusto nyo para matapos na.”

“Ako reason ng hiwalayan namin, ako ang may mali ng lahat. Mas masarap sundin yung puso natin kung saan masaya. Alam ko ito ang gusto nyong marinig, lalaki kong tatanggapin lahat ng ibabato nyo sa akin,” added the 2018 Commissioner’s Cup Finals MVP.

Kayesha Chua, a close friend of the former couple and fiancé of Gin Kings’ forward Aljon Mariano, posted a message on Instagram asking the fans to respect the decision of those involved.

“May we please request everyone to respect both parties and their decision to part ways. Let them move on in whatever and however what they want to. They both made mistakes and they was well aware of the prices they have to pay for. Hayaan na natin na ang universe na ang magbalik sa kanila ng nararapat for them.”
