Controversial, me? Jennifer Lopez silences her critics as she vamps it up in thigh-high leather boots and a daring fringed leotard at Sound Of Change concert

She was at the centre of a public outcry earlier thanks to her racy performance on family show, Britain’s Got Talent.

But Jennifer Lopez silenced her critics as she took to the stage at the Sound Of Change concert at London’s Twickenham Stadium on Saturday night in a 𝓈ℯ𝓍y plunging leotard.

Evidently not letting any of the criticisms of the past week get to her, the 43-year-old singer looked absolutely incredible in her daring one-piece, which was cut eye-wateringly high and featured dramatic fringing details.

Jennifer capped off her 𝓈ℯ𝓍y look by wearing her honey blonde locks tumbling around her shoulders in loose waves, while opting for natural make-up to show off her stunning features.

Parading her incredible figure as she strutted her stuff on stage, the music megastar ensured her famous dance moves were 𝓈ℯ𝓍ier than ever as she writhed around for all to see.

One audience member told MailOnline: ‘She didn’t care what anyone thought and was busting out all the 𝓈ℯ𝓍y dance moves.’

Performing a number of her classic hits, including old favourite Jenny From The Block, the starlet was later joined on stage by a jumpsuit-clad Mary J Blige for a surprise duet.

After finding herself at the centre of controversy earlier this week, Jennifer defended her racy performance on Britain’s Got Talent, claiming her daring thong-style bodysuit was just ‘standard stage clothes’.

And the 43-year-old singer maintained show bosses asked her to deliver exactly what she had showcased at the 2013 Billboard Awards earlier this month – and therefore, knew entirely what they were letting themselves in for.

Speaking during an interview on Scott Mills’ Radio 1 show on Thursday, she said: ‘I think people are so raunchier than I am. I feel like I’m so tame.

‘We wore it at Billboard and Britain’s Got Talent said they wanted exactly the same. So I thought I’d wear the outfit in black. No one complained at Billboard.

‘I think people just like to talk. It was a body suit. A lot of performers wear that these days. It is standard stage clothes. I’m not going to walk down the street like that!’

On Tuesday Jennifer had sung her dance track on the Britain’s Got Talent Result Show, where her racy performance caused quite a stir.

Wearing a skimpy leotard that barely covered her famous derriere, a number of viewers complained to Ofcom for certain lewd moves in her choreography.

And despite the fact the show was broadcast after the 9pm watershed, parents of young children were outraged as many had stayed up to catch the action, particularly given that it is the half-term holiday in much of the UK this week.

Grin and bear it: It was Jennifer’s first appearance on stage since her Britain’s Got Talent controversy earlier this week

Mediawatch UK director Vivienne Pattinson said: ‘Parents will have been more likely to let their children stay up beyond their normal bedtimes.

‘And given the main show is incredibly popular with children, lots of them will have wanted to stay up a bit later to find out who won. It was totally inappropriate to show something like this, given their audience. It seems as if they never learn.’

Angry viewers took to Twitter to slam the performance within seconds of the show drawing to a close.

One wrote: ‘#BGT does #jenniferlopez realise its a family show – only thing missing was the pole – cover up your cheeks please!’

Another added: ‘Jennifer Lopez in rubber underwear and thigh high boots? Yeah that’s great “family” viewing on #BGT.’
