Kylie Jenner’s fans suspect she quietly shut down longtime business after spotting major ‘clue’ online

KYLIE Jenner has fans speculating if she’s put an end to her swimwear line ahead of the launch of her new company Khy.

Kylie, 25, is best known for Kylie Cosmetics outside of her famous family’s reality shows, but she does have another brand that fans recently questioned.

Discussed in a Kardashians-themed forum on Reddit was the status of the Hulu personality’s swimwear brand, Kylie Swim.

Promo snaps of models sporting Kylie Swim bikinis were shared in the thread.

The moderator who posted the images revealed that they were “curious of the state of Kylie Swim” with Khy being on the way.

“Last time I checked (sometime earlier this year) the website was still available but when you click the link now it takes you to Kylie cosmetics,” the moderator wrote.

“This brand had so much hype, and the marketing was A1.”

Several fans added their own theories to the Reddit post, some of them believing Kylie axed the line because it wasn’t popular enough.

One fan explained: “It flopped and she doesn’t want it associated with Khy.

People are already not taking her new line serious bc of that debacle and see it as another cash grab.”

‘A FLOP’

A second person cosigned: “It was not iconic, it was hated and a flop.”

A third person theorized: “Worth noting that she could (and likely does) still own the domain, but the site is unavailable to the public.”

Another fan countered: “I never understood why kylie swim never took off. All she had to do was use better fabric which wouldnt have been a problem for her.

I think this brand had so much potential even after the first flop. She could’ve changed the fabric and people would still buy it eveeen to just compare.”

Kylie previously launched Kylie Swim in September 2021 to lackluster reviews before filing new trademarks for the brand in November 2022.

KHY IS COMING

Kylie might be trying to sweep Kylie Swim under the rug in order to fully direct fans’ attention to Khy, as some of her supporters think.

On October 24, 2023, the mom of two posted a photo on her Instagram wearing a black leather trench coat with the caption: “meet khy.”

Jens and Emma Grede, the same husband-and-wife duo behind Khloé Kardashian’s Good American and Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS, are said to be involved with the brand.

Jenner stated that the clothing line, a play on her nickname, will offer fashion-forward threads at a more accessible price point than typical designer brands.

In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Jenner said: “The whole line is really inspired by my personal wardrobe, and the different moods that I’m in…[the first drop] is very King Kylie–who I am at my core.”

The venture is her newest, though not only foray into fashion.

She also collaborates with her sister Kendall Jenner, 27, on their clothing line Kendall + Kylie, sold at lifestyle retail brand PacSun.
