Dimples Romana shares experience filming 'Maguad Siblings' MMK episode | ABS-CBN Entertainment

Kapamilya actress Dimples Romana expressed how “difficult” and “painful” it was to shoot the upcoming Maalaala Mo Kaya episode about the Maguad siblings. On her Instagram account, she shared how the experience was for her especially as a celebrity mom.

Dimples will be portraying the mom of the Maguad siblings alongside Joem Bascon who plays the father. Completing the cast for the two-part Mother’s Day special of MMK are Karina Bautista, Criza Taa, and Miguel Vergara.

“Whenever Alonzo would ask me what I do for a living- I say, I’m a storyteller, anak. I tell stories for a living. All kinds of stories. This story in particular is by far the most difficult and most painful story I have ever had the privilege of telling,” she expressed.

As a mother, Dimples maintained that parents pray that they’ll live longer to see the success of their children. She added how it’s a different type of pain when a parent loses a child.

“Kapag naging magulang ka, ipinagdadasal mo na humaba pa ang buhay mo para makasama mo ng matagal ang mga anak mo. Pero paano nga ba kung mauna sila sa’yo? The unimaginable pain of losing a child,” she added.

The Kapamilya actress then expressed how the story of the Maguad family has made a big impact on her especially with the guidance of the whole cast and crew. She hoped that their portrayal of the Maguad family would be given justice.

“The Maguad family story has left a mark in my heart that will never go away. To pull this off, I heavily relied on our entire team’s strength, support and guidance. DIREK @onatdiaz Nay @rodacd1 Kuya @bensonlogronio I pray I, together with my fellow cast members were able to give justice to this incredible story of betrayal, kindness, compassion, and humanity,” she wrote.
