MANILA – The rumors are true: Kathryn Bernardo has collaborated with the local brand Happy Skin for a makeup line.

Bernardo’s #KathXHappySkin set is the first collection of Generation Happy Skin, described as “must-have makeup products for the everyday girl.”

The Kapamilya star’s makeup line includes matte lipsticks, pressed powder, blush, eyebrow pen, lip and cheek tint, and mascara. All these, she said, are “long-lasting, pigmented, and fool-proof even for makeup newbies.”

“Wanted to give you something I believe in that’s why I developed this myself with the Happy Skin team to empower all the girls out there with this simple collection,” Bernardo wrote in an Instagram post over the weekend.

“I’m a firm believer that simple is beautiful and makeup shouldn’t be complicated, but instead bring out the best in every girl with effortless beauty.”

With her tie-up with Happy Skin, Bernardo officially joins a growing list of celebrities who have dipped their toes into the makeup industry.

Anne Curtis and Vice Ganda have built their own brands – BLK Cosmetics and Vice Cosmetics, respectively – both promising to offer good quality makeup at affordable prices.

Nadine Lustre, meanwhile, has been promoting her makeup line under the Australian brand BYS Cosmetics.
