Kapamilya Chat dared the beloved Kapamilya actress to face a series of juicy questions. And if she doesn’t feel like spilling the tea, then maybe she’s brave enough to gulp down a mystery drink instead. Intrigued? You should be.

Julia proved she’s a woman of substance as she tackled the first question about what she’s learned about love. Her answer? Love is colorful, love is vast, and love can mean so many things. Filming “Saving Grace,” where she plays an elementary school teacher bent on saving her physically abused student, has made her realize that love has no bounds—it comes in all forms. But one thing’s for sure: love is love.

With all the projects she’s been part of, she had a tough time picking her most favorite co-star. So, she went with the most recent one, Zia Grace, the young talent playing the title role in “Saving Grace.” She absolutely adores the little girl and says Zia reminds her of her own colorful days as a child star.

When Julia gets praised for a project’s success, you’d likely hear her downplay it, saying it’s not just her but the whole team that deserves the credit. For her, great things happen through collaboration. So, when asked about her biggest pet peeve at work, she didn’t hesitate to say it’s the lack of cooperation.

“Minsan kasi mahirap mag-eksena, ‘pag halimbawa, awayan, sampalan, ang hirap ‘pag hindi collaborative kasi siyempre ayaw mong makasakit, tapos hindi collaborative, so ang hirap makagalaw. Siyempre, hindi lang para sa akin o sa kanya, kundi sa buong eksena na ginawa ng creatives,” she explains.

Another question was, “What could you be doing if you hadn’t become an actress?” Believe it or not, she used to dream of being a soldier, inspired by her aunt who was in the military. Growing up, she was fascinated by how the uniformed men and women served the country.

Looks like Julia was determined to avoid the mystery drinks, that is, until she got hit with a question about the worst negative comment she’s ever read about herself online. There were just so many, she couldn’t pick just one!

When asked about something she’d want to reveal from her private life, Julia wasn’t having it either. She went for a shot instead of spilling the beans. Some things are just too precious to share, and we totally get that!

Meanwhile, she got pretty deep when asked what she’d want to change from her past. Julia shared that she really appreciates the present and feels content with where she is now, and, for her, she wouldn’t be where she is today if it weren’t for her past experiences.
