Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza appeared to have repaired their friendship, as the actor was spotted attending Mendoza’s 30th birthday party with their fellow celebrity friends.

Mendoza, who celebrated her birthday last March 3, welcomed her thirties in an intimate party with her closest friends at Uma Nota Manila in Taguig. One of those invited was Richards who was spotted interacting with his fellow guests, as seen on comedienne Chichi Rita and Via Antonio’s Instagram accounts.

“Happy birthday sa ating Maine girl @mainedcm. Ang hiling ko para sayo maging mabuti lang ang kalusugan mo at maging happy ka lang sa buhay we love you Meng. I’m so happy nagkita-kita ang lahat from daddy’s Gurl fam and #Mainegoals fam na miss ko kayong lahat,” Rita’s caption read.

Also invited to Mendoza’s party were Maja Salvador, Kristine Hermosa, Oyo Boy Sotto, Ciara Sotto, Alora Sasam, Miles Ocampo, and Jose Manalo.

Aside from her party, the actress-host celebrated her 30th birthday with a black-and-white-themed photoshoot.

“Hello 30,” she captioned her post.

Richards and Mendoza were best known for their love team AlDub formed through the “Kalyeserye” segment of the noontime show “Eat Bulaga” in 2015. Their onscreen pairing was one of the biggest love teams at the time as it spawned multiple projects and even a noontime special at the Philippine Arena.

However, their pairing was subjected to multiple rumors on social media including them allegedly getting married and having children. Richards and Mendoza have denied these on multiple occasions, but some fans still continued to push this narrative.

The actor admitted in October 2023 that he confessed his feelings towards Mendoza but he declined to give further details out of respect for the latter’s husband, Arjo Atayde.
