“Hello, Love, Again,” which currently stands as the highest-grossing Filipino movie, was honored for its box office achievement at the 2025 Manila International Film Festival (MIFF) in Los Angeles, California.

The Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards-starrer bagged the Box Office Hit Award at the MIFF 2025 gala at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California on March 7 (March 8 in the Philippines). Since its premiere in November 2024, the film earned P1.6 billion in box office sales.

The film, as well as Bernardo and Richards, was also praised by MIFF 2025 executive producer Lisa Lew in a November 2024 interview with INQUIRER.net, saying that “numbers count” in theaters.

“It shows you that there are people who deliver the numbers, and everybody should know that. When you see that kind of box office, it shows that our numbers count, and not all the numbers in passive counted, because not all the studios would count their numbers,” Lew said.

“It was a wonderful race. We’re not surprised. We know that because we live there. The rest of the country, in the US too, knows that our numbers are from the Philippines. So that really builds wealth in the future. And I think we’ll see a lot more in the future,” she further said.

Also honored at the gala was “Song of the Fireflies” which emerged as the biggest winner of the night with four awards including Best Picture and Best Actress.

Here is the full list of winners:
