The Philippines’ Queen of All Media Kris Aquino refuted a claim that she had cancer and is now free from the disease during the question and answer segment she held earlier this week on Instagram for her fans. The showbiz personality expressed that having cancer on top of her autoimmune diseases is already too much.

Kris recently gave her fans a quick update about her health and shared that she is “wheelchair bound” as she answered some questions.

“I saw couple of posts on fb that you are now Cancer free Ms. @krisaquino So I am here to check hoping it’s true! I’m still hoping & praying you’d recover from this! You’re still the Best & Queen of All Media. I will include you on my prayers. God is good,” a fan wrote.

The Queen of All Media was quick to deny the condition as she never had it. She maintained that she had a PET scan to check her autoimmune diseases and other things with her body.

“I have always been cancer free. I think my having another PET SCAN on the day before Mother’s Day was misunderstood. That was done to check the condition of my autoimmune & long term covid damaged lungs,” she wrote.

“Medyo sumobra na kung pati cancer meron ako,” she added.

Following her Q & A segment for her fans, Kris expressed her gratitude towards them who have been praying for her continuous healing. In one of her comments, the showbiz personality expressed she was happy with the amount of support she and her family has been receiving.

“I believe we have a loving God who answers unselfish prayers- you have my heartfelt gratitude,” she expressed.

Meanwhile, Kris shared that she is battling multiple autoimmune diseases and some of which have been caused by her previous diseases and illnesses.

“I now have 9 primary autoimmune diseases , # 10 is a result of the 9, and I have an 11th disease that came about because of my lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, Sjogren’s (Mayo Clinic defines it as a ‘disorder of your immune system identified by its two most common symptoms — dry eyes and a dry mouth’), and a few of my other autoimmune diseases. I love my sons and they aren’t ready to lose me- especially Bimb who just turned 18. Thank you for loving me,” she previously wrote.

She previously lived in the US for over two years to get her treatments done but moved back to the country in late 2024.
