MANILA, Philippines — Sarah Geronimo and SB19 have joined forces for the first time in Umaaligid, a high-energy pop track infused with sharp social commentary on disinformation and mass manipulation.

Two of OPM’s biggest names came together for this groundbreaking collaboration, blending powerhouse vocals, dynamic harmonies and fearless lyrics. The result? A bold, emotionally charged anthem that doesn’t shy away from speaking truth to power.

Umaaligid pairs Sarah’s signature vocal strength with SB19’s tight harmonies and cutting rap verses. The lyrics serve as both a warning and a wake-up call, urging listeners to stay alert in an era of fake news and distorted truths.

The official audio dropped across digital streaming platforms at midnight yesterday (July 30). A 10-minute music film premiered at 12 p.m. the same day, exclusively on Sarah’s YouTube channel.

 

This is the debut release under Sarah’s newly launched independent record label, G Music, which she co-founded with her husband, actor Matteo Guidicelli.

Earlier, Matteo had proudly announced the milestone in an Instagram post, marking a new chapter for the couple and a major step in Sarah’s over two-decade-long music career.

“After years of dreaming, planning, and learning, it’s finally time,” Matteo wrote. “Sarah and I are proud to announce the launch of G-Music — Sarah’s very own recording label.”

According to Matteo, the label was born out of Sarah’s desire to be “creatively empowered” and to “own the music she creates,” describing it as “her work, her art, and her legacy.”

He also expressed gratitude to mentors and collaborators throughout the years, emphasizing that while their guidance was invaluable, “true growth” came from learning to navigate both the creative and business sides of the industry — and ultimately, “owning one’s creations, voice, and future.”

“G-Music is built on the values of collaboration, respect, transparency, and growth. Our mission is to support Sarah’s music journey and, in time, open doors for other artists who share the same vision,” he added.

 

G-Music follows the couple’s earlier ventures — G Productions and The G Studios — which focus on artist management and providing creative spaces.

Matteo concluded his post with a heartfelt message: “Here’s to creating, learning, and building something that will live on beyond us.”

The couple also teased their label’s first major release: a highly anticipated collaboration between Sarah and P-pop global sensation SB19.
