A contestant at the “Pilipinas Got Talent” (PGT) sent Kathryn Bernardo into fits of laughter with his antics and his look slightly resembling her ex-boyfriend, Daniel Padilla.

On the April 13 episode of the talent show, a contestant named Raymart Pandalan caught Bernardo’s attention, who pointed out that he looked like Ronnie Alonte.

“Para kang si Ronnie no (You look like Ronnie)? Ronnie Alonte,” Bernardo said, which caused Pandalan to jokingly walk off the stage in feigned embarrassment.

Before Pandalan could proceed with his act, “Pilipinas Got Talent” season seven judge Freddie “FMG” Garcia asked if he was related to Bernardo’s ex-boyfriend, Daniel Padilla, apparently owing to his modern mullet-style haircut that made him look a little like the “Incognito” star.

“Kamag-anak mo ba si (Are you related to) Daniel Padilla,” he said, to Bernardo and the audience’s delight.

“Ronnie nga. Ronnie, sabi ko (I said). Hair? Same hair? ‘Incognito,’” Bernardo said..

Bernardo and Padilla, dubbed as “KathNiel,” were in an 11-year relationship before announcing their breakup in November 2023. They worked together on multiple projects, including the dramas “Got To Believe,” “Princess and I,” “Pangako Sa’yo,” and the films “Barcelona: A Love Untold,” “The Hows of Us,” and “She’s Gating the Gangster.”

Since their split, Bernardo and Padilla embarked on their solo careers, with the actress starring in the film “Hello, Love, Again” with Alden Richards and accepting a judge post on the talent show. Meanwhile, Padilla is one of the lead stars of the action drama “Incognito,” which recently entered its “Nihon Saga.”

Padilla was recently rumored to have gotten into a fistfight with Kyle Echarri during the recent ABS-CBN Ball over Bernardo, with JK Labajo and Richard Gutierrez also getting in the fray. However, none of the stars confirmed nor addressed the rumors, as of this writing.
