Jam Ignacio has publicly apologized to his fiancée, Jellie Aw, after allegedly assaulting her inside their car.

Despite the incident, he expressed his strong desire for their wedding to push through.

In an interview with GMA, Jam stated that he still hopes to marry Jellie and mend their relationship privately.

He also addressed speculation that he was in hiding, clarifying that he is simply waiting for the right time to respond to the case Jellie filed against him at the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).

Jam apologized not only to Jellie but also to her loved ones.

“Sa mga kapatid, sa mga kaibigan, heto, heto ako, haharap sa inyo, humaharap na humihingi ng taos-pusong sorry, sorry, sobrang sorry lalo na sa family ni Jellie, Ma, sorry Ma. Alam niya na mahal na mahal ko si Jellie,” he said.

Describing the altercation as a misunderstanding caused by extreme fatigue, Jam admitted his mistake and vowed that it would never happen again.

“Kumbaga, tao lang din po ako. Napuno lang din siguaro ako, na hindi ko sinasabing tama pero hindi ko para i-tolerate na gawin uli. Humihingi ako ng tawad. Pasensiya na talaga, sorry, sorry sa lahat,” he stated.

Speaking directly to Jellie, he reaffirmed his love and commitment. “Hon, alam mo kung gaano kita kamahal. Alam mo yan kung gaano kita protektahan, bantayan. Sorry sa mga nangyari, pinapangako ko sa yo na hindi na mauulit ito, alam mong mahal natin ang isa’t isa. Mahal na mahal kita,” Jam said.
