Although they haven’t been dating very long, Taylor Swift already has enough inspiration to write two songs about her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.

Sources close to the couple told Us Weekly that the relationship is so great, it’s a key topic for a couple of Swift’s new singles. “Taylor has already written songs about Travis,” the insiders said. “She’s written at least two songs. They have to do with their love story and falling in love with him.”

However, the songs that Taylor Swift has written about Kelce are considered “very personal” and fans might not get to hear them. “She likely won’t share them with anyone. They’re very special. Songs are like poetry to her. Just like most people journal, Taylor writes lyrics. Her relationship with Travis has inspired her.”

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce started dating in Summer 2023. Although they haven’t revealed the exact month their relationship began, the couple revealed they were seeing each other for a while before Swift started attending NFL games. She attended more than a dozen games during the 2023 season, including the Super Bowl.

Not shy to discuss her relationship status, Taylor Swift opened up about her time with Travis Kelce.

 

“This all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell,” Swift told Time for the Person of the Year interview. “We started hanging out right after that.”

“So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other. By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple.”

Taylor Swift also cleared up speculation of when exactly the duo started dating. “I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.”

In regards to the attention the relationship has already received, Swift said she doesn’t mind it as long as she’s supporting Kelce. “When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care.”

“The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”
