Kylie Padilla and Aljur Abrenica’s wedding ceremony on Tuesday was abundant with elegant details, fit for the culmination of a year-long engagement that weathered uncertainties and strained familial ties.
The exchange of vows was a vision of a happy ending for the couple, who at one point had to grapple with the disapproval of the bride’s father, screen veteran Robin Padilla, of their relationship.
