Kumalat noong Abril 11, 2022, Lunes Santo, ang scandal video ng isang babaeng itinuturong si Aika Robredo, ang 34-anyos na anak ni Vice President Leni Robredo.

Nang hapong iyon ay nag-tweet si VP Leni, “Best antidote to fake news is the TRUTH. Let us not lose focus. Tuloy tuloy lang ang paggawa ng kabutihan. This was how I survived the last 6 years.”

Nag-open letter kapagkuwan sa Facebook si Archbishop Socrates B. Villegas, D. D.

Bahagi ng open letter ni Father Soc na naka-pin sa kanyang verified FB account:

“Dear Aika,

“I am sorry to hear about the malicious fake videos that liars have made about you. It is incredible that they spread these lies during the Holy Week!

“The purveyors of these calumnies against you clearly have no sense of the Lord who called Himself the Truth. The disciples of the Prince of Darkness hatched this rotten egg.

“Let not the lies disturb you. The truth of your life of decency and humility and service and intelligence is known by all of us. Only liars will believe their own kind.

“As for you, stay focused on doing what is good and be unperturbed in living by the truth according to the principles your parents planted in you…”

Noong Lunes Santo rin idineklara ni Piolo Pascual sa Instagram, “Si Leni Robredo ang presidente ko…”

Kakakip niyon ang video clip na 2 minutes and 25 seconds, kung saan ipinaliwanag niya kung bakit si Leni ang kanyang choice na maging kasunod na presidente.

Nasa Facebook at Twitter account din ni Papa P ang nasabing video, na ang caption naman, “Ang totoong Unity ay pagkakaisa ng taumbayan. Pilipino para sa kapwa Pilipino. “Kay Leni Robredo sigurado tayo diyan.”
