Multimedia Idol Kim Chiu has once again solidified her place in the Kapamilya network by signing an exclusive contract with ABS-CBN, reaffirming her loyalty and gratitude to her home for the past 17 years. The emotional moment unfolded during the “Keep Shining: The Kim Chiu Network Contract Signing,” where Kim reflected on her incredible journey from a dreamer to one of the most bankable stars in the Philippines.

“I started without having anything—no skills, no knowledge about this industry. Wala akong alam sa pag-arte, pagkanta, pagsayaw, at lalo na sa pagho-host dahil ang sakit daw sa tenga ng boses ko noon,” Kim shared, her voice tinged with nostalgia and gratitude. “But ABS-CBN gave me a chance, and now, I’m living my dream.”

Kim’s rise to fame began in 2006 when she was crowned the Big Winner of “Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition 1.” Over the years, her career has flourished, but she never forgot the network that believed in her when she had nothing.

“Dahil sa ABS-CBN, naging maayos ang buhay namin. Hindi lang pangarap ko ang natupad kundi pati ang pangarap ng mga kapatid ko. Kaya ngayon, it’s my turn to give back. I’ll always be here for ABS-CBN, kasi tinulungan nila ako nung walang-wala pa ako,” Kim said, her voice cracking with emotion.

The event was attended by ABS-CBN’s top executives, including chairman Mark Lopez, president and CEO Carlo Katigbak, COO of broadcast Cory Vidanes, TV production and Star Magic head Laurenti Dyogi, and Star Magic’s Edith Fariñas. Direk Lauren Dyogi, visibly emotional, expressed his admiration for Kim’s unwavering loyalty, even amid the network’s challenges in recent years.

In her new contract, Kim revealed that fans can look forward to more exciting projects, including her hit Prime Video series “Fit Check” and the highly anticipated Dreamscape series “Linlang,” where she stars alongside Paulo Avelino and JM de Guzman. Paulo Avelino, who was present during the announcement, expressed his unwavering support for Kim, calling her a “dedicated and hardworking actress” who deserves all the success she has achieved.
