Ito ang pahayag ni Megastar Sharon Cuneta nang tanungin ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) tungkol sa pagiging mas open ngayon si Coco Martin sa relasyon nito kay Julia Montes.

Noong December 2024, may panayam kina Coco at Julia kunsaan sinabi ng aktor na itinuturing niyang katuwang ang aktres sa lahat ng aspeto ng kanyang buhay.

Handa raw si Coco na alagaan si Julia at maging good provider dito, para magpokus ang aktres sa pag-abot ng anumang pangarap nito.

“Ako na bahala sa yo. Arbor na kita. Bilang lalaki, ako yun. Responsibilidad ko yun,” deklarasyon ni Coco.

Ipinaabot ng PEP kay Sharon ang pahayag na iyon ni Coco.

Nakausap ng PEP at piling entertainment editors at vloggers si Sharon pagkatapos ng launch ng InLife Insurance Retire Assure.

Ginanap ang event sa Manila Peninsula Hotel sa Makati City nitong Huwebes ng tanghali, January 30, 2024.

Patuloy ni Sharon, “No, they’re like my kids. I mean, almost in the real sense of the word. Kulang na lang pinanganak ko sila.

“So, all I will say is, I said I have a lot of admiration and respect for Coco, not only as a talented co-worker, but as a family man.

“They love each other very much. They’re very happy together and I wish them only the best, and for this love to last forever.”

Nabanggit ni Sharon na nakarating sa kanya ang reaksiyon ng ibang netizens sa 13-year age gap ng couple.

Aniya, “I don’t like when people judge them because of the age gap.

“Because I know… I know what Julia had to go through when she was younger.

“And she’s in a much better off place, I’d like to say. She says that too.

“She’s very much loved. She’s such a queen. I’m happy about that.”

Nakatrabaho ni Sharon sina Coco at Julia sa FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano mula November 2021 hanggang July 2022.

Nagkasama ulit sina Sharon at Julia sa Saving Grace, ang 14-part Prime Video series na nakatakdang ipalabas soon sa free TV.

Saad ni Sharon: “Oh my god, they were all such great actors!

“Ang sarap magtrabaho pag you’re on the same page. Everyone gives their best, everyone brings their A-game.

“Na parang pag sinabing ‘Take! Action!’ you have to give your all. So, every scene has been a team effort and everybody was given their own highlights, that’s so special.

“And you know, you work with Janice, you work with Julia, with Jennica, and the rest of them, wala ka nang hahanapin.

“I love them.”

SHARON CUNETA ON COCO MARTIN

Mabilis na sumagot ng “oo” si Sharon nang tanungin kung papayag siya sakaling hilingin ni Coco na sumali siya sa ongoing Kapamilya series na FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.

“Anytime, anak ko yun, e,” masiglang sabi ni Sharon.

Gusto rin ni Coco na magkatrabaho ulit sila, pero gusto raw ng aktor na maganda ang pagsasamahan nilang next project.

Naalala pa ni Sharon kung paano magtrabaho si Coco bilang creative consultant, director, at actor sa Ang Probinsyano, na umere mula 2015 hanggang August 2022.

“Coco is a genius,” papuri ni Sharon kay Coco.

“I was so amazed in Probinsyano. Pinapanood ko siya, magsu-shoot kaming eksena, lahat kami ang kasama, yung Aguila, all-star cast.

“The guy was narrating the dialogue of each star to his assistants. He had two assistants writing down what he was saying.

“Then he would go, ‘O, si Michael sabi ganito, si General sabi ganito, si Lolo ganito.’

“Tapos, ‘O, camera mo, close-up niya to, tapos ganyan. Tapos a-acting siya, rehearsal to, tapos iikot siya, ‘O, tapos shot nito medium, tapos ganyan…’

“Sabi ko, oh my god! Kasi siya nagsusulat, siya ang director, tapos artista siya.

“I have never, never in my whole life seen someone who was such a genius at what he was doing.

“This happened every single day, on the spot.”

Lahad pa ni Sharon, “Or kunyari, after taping, after he had a full taping day, he would have a meeting with his staff and dictate pa, ‘Bukas ito yung dialogue, ito yung ganito…’

“Ako artista lang, hilung-hilo na ako sa ginagawa ko. Parang, oh my god, talagang si Coco…

“I bow to him in respect and admiration. Super. Once in a lifetime.”

Sabay nag-backtrack si Sharon nang maalala ang late King of Philippine Movies na si Fernando Poe Jr. o FPJ, na legendary director-producer-actor na may halos 300 movies sa loob ng 50-year career nito.

Paglilinaw ni Sharon: “Oh sorry, the only other person I know who was like that was FPJ.

“But he already had his own scriptwriters. He just really, you know, amended some, revised some, but he was still directing, acting.

“But Coco was so, my god, hands on!”
