Michele Gumabao ties the knot with Aldo Panlilio
Ikinasal na si Miss Universe Philippines 2020 second runner-up Michele Gumabao sa kanyang longtime boyfriend, ang PBA coach na si Aldo Palilio.
Ginanap ang church wedding nina Michele at Aldo sa National Shrine of the Sacred Heart, Makati City, ngayong Martes, February 25, 2025.
Nagsimula ang seremonya ng kasal nina Michele at Aldo bandang alas-5 ng hapon.
Kasunod nito ang palitan ng matamis na halik ng bagong mag-asawa.

MICHELE GUMABAO AND ALDO PANLILIO LOVE STORY
Nagkrus ang landas nina Michele at Aldo dahil sinet-up sila ng date ng isang common friend halos may walong taon na ang nakalilipas.
Sa panayam nina Michelle at Aldo sa ABS-CBN noong 2017, nagkuwento ang dalawa kung paano nagsimula ang kanilang love story.
Lahad ni Aldo: “A friend set us up at his restaurant, Sobremesa in Pasig City. I just tagged along and got invited. I already knew of her so I gave it a chance.
“As for why Michele gave it a chance? Maybe, ‘cause [the restaurant] was near her game.”
Si Michele ay professional volleyball player at kasalukuyang naglalaro para sa koponan ng Creamline Cool Smashers sa Premier Volleyball League (PVL).
Dagdag naman ni Michele: “What he said! Sabi ko sa kanya punta na lang siya!
“After that, we just kept talking. We talked every day—as in, every day until today!”
Mabilis daw silang nagkasundo dahil sa marami nilang pagkakatulad at interes, gaya sa pagkain, hilig sa sports, at pagdyi-gym.
“We eat wherever,” pagbubunyag ni Aldo.
Bagay na hindi naman itinanggi ni Michele: “He’d watch my games then we’d go out after. Anything that there’s meat, Aldo’s there! From shabu-shabu to buffet!
“And for us, fitness is our life and career na. Before Aldo put up his gym, he was a fitness enthusiast na.
“And me siyempre volleyball so sports talaga. And we bond over that a lot, we balance out our dates with dinner and working out.
“He does train me, although not regularly. But whenever I’m free, dun talaga ako.
“He’s super strict ! Hindi nya ako girlfriend sa gym! He’s on coach mode talaga!
“He trains Mel [Gohing] also, so bonding namin ni Mel at night si Aldo.
“Kasi lagi kaming nag-uusap about our workouts, and kung gaano siya ka-strict and kahirap na coach sa gym!”
