Last August, Vice Ganda got into a multi-vehicular accident along Katipunan in Quezon City. Luckily, the comedian came out of it unscathed, but the same can’t be said for her Cadillac Escalade.

As per Vice, repairs for her car will take months, hence, she recently went out to buy a new one to take her to and from work. The It’s Showtime host vlogged the experience and ended up with the BMW 735 I-Pure Excellence, a luxury sedan worth a whopping P8.99 million!

 

The suave vehicle comes in black and burgundy leather seating. It also has a ton of top-of-the-line functions only cars within this price range have. This includes a touch-screen dashboard and infotainment system, a glass sunroof, a built-in wireless charger on the center console, a voice command function, color-changing interior lights, and controls on both the driver and passenger seats to adjust certain things like window blinds and speaker volume.

 

Most important of all, though, is the car’s safety features. BMW’s website lists some of them as follows: antilock braking system, dynamic stability control, active protection, side impact protection, dynamic braking lights, airbags, and a crash sensor among others.

In the video, Vice admitted to having been traumatized by the accident she was involved in, where a truck driver fell asleep at the wheel, causing a crash between four cars, including Vice’s. She expressed that while her Cadillac took much of the blow, she’s just glad to be safe and alive. The entertainer was also told that she survived the collision thanks to the excellent build of her car, which is why it was important for Vice to purchase another luxury vehicle the can provide her with the same amount of protection.
