Gaming continues to evolve and reach new heights of popularity, and as the face of Bingo Plus, Piolo Pascual is taking a stand for responsible gaming.

For the actor, it is especially important to manage one’s finances within gaming platforms.

Speaking at a press conference, Piolo said, “I guess, bottom line is, if you work hard for the money, you don’t want to risk it. You want to play responsibly, and this tests your discipline.”

The event was held on March 27, 2025, at the Manila Marriott Hotel in Pasay City.

For Piolo, gamers should remain mindful of their limits, both in terms of time and money spent on gaming.

He remarked, “If you know how to play, if you know your limit, then that’s it. Dapat hanggang dun ka lang.

“Because if you go over and you spend beyond your means, then you’re going to be in trouble. So you really have to play responsibly.

“That’s why I also said yesterday, because I would say that I’m very disciplined in terms of how I spend my money, how I use my money, and making sure that I don’t spend beyond what I have. So it’s just play responsibly.”

At the press conference, Piolo was asked about the possibility of creating a film about gaming, and he expressed interest.

Piolo described the film he envisions to the press: “I would say it has to be related to bingo…something inspiring, something that would probably encourage people not just to play, but to play responsibly.

“So something like that. I don’t know who to tap, but definitely it’s a family, family concept, family drama, something like it.”

The grand event also celebrated the app’s third anniversary, and Piolo took the opportunity to express his gratitude.

He said at the press conference, “Representing something that has a meaning, representing something that you know does something for the community is a big thing for me already.

“So in terms of the way they do their business, the way they’re also reaching out to our communities, especially pledging money just to help out our less fortunate people here in the Philippines, gives me so much pride knowing that I’m endorsing something that does its own to help our community.”

Piolo continued, “Last year, they pledged PHP100 million, that really went a long way in terms of helping out people.

“And also this night, we’re turning over something really big for our communities. That’s something to look forward to.”

Meanwhile, Piolo is excited about his new projects this 2025.

He revealed that he has both a movie and a TV show in the pipeline.

Piolo told the press, “I said yes to a couple of projects this year.

“Hopefully, I get to manage it in such a way that I’m able to do all the projects that I said yes to and see it come out on the big screen and on TV as well.”
