Piolo walang ‘puso’ para sa politika; naging instant fan ni Coco

PURING-PURI ng Ultimate Leading Man na si Piolo Pascual si Coco Martin hindi lang bilang magaling na aktor kundi pati na rin bilang isang direktor.
Ang lead star at direktor ng “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” ang nagdirek ng maaaksyong eksena sa isa pang hit Kapamilya series na “Pamilya Sagrado” na pinagbibidahan ni Papa P.
Mapapanood na ang mga eksenang idinirek ni Coco sa nalalapit na pagtatapos ng serye next week.
Sa naganap na intimate solo presscon ni Piolo kahapon para sa pasabog na finale ng “Pamilya Sagrado” ay natanong siya ng BANDERA kung kumusta si Coco bilang direktor.
“Diretso siya. Nandu’n agad siya. Nagdidirek agad siya, nu’ng dumating ako hanggang matapos ‘yung show. Ibang klase, ibang klase ‘yung professionalism ni Coco.

“I became a fan, as an actor to a director, because nakita mo talaga na inaral niya ‘yung script before coming, before doing the scenes and nakipag-meeting siya,” simulang pahayag ni Piolo.
Patuloy pa niya, “Nagpre-prod siya. Nakakatuwa because you get to be directed by Coco, who is in his prime as well.
“So, I guess you know since never ako nakapunta sa mga show niya. This is something to start with. Hopefully, makapag-collab kami as actors. Pero grabe ang galing nakakatuwa,” chika pa ng award-winning actor.
Sundot na tanong namin sa kanya kung na-inspire ba siya ni Coco na magdirek na rin in the near future, “I love producing. I enjoy the process of producing, but I have to be totally honest; I don’t see any skill in me as a director.
“That’s something I don’t think I have any interest in doing. Ang hirap eh, ‘yung part the whole process, eh. Kapag artista ka siguro grabe na ‘yung binibigay mong oras, paano pa kapag nag-direct ka at nag-produce ka“And also, at the end of the day, I didn’t study directing, so I don’t want to be all-knowing and trying to do something, na hindi ko naman alam kung paano gawin,” ang pagpapakatotoong tugon ng aktor.
Samantala, presidente ng Pilipinas ang ginampanan niya sa “Pamilya Sagrado” kaya natanong din namin siya kung nagkaroon din ba siya ng interes na sumabak sa politika.
“I have friends that have been inviting me. Some groups have been inviting me. Pero sa kabisihan ko, I don’t think I’ll have time for it.
“And it is also not my interest to enter politics. I already have my field that I can practice,” sabi pa ni Papa P.
“Ever since, however, I was never interested in politics, and we just pray for them. Or on the horizon, for that matter. I love what I do.
“I must stick to acting because ito na talaga ‘yung trabaho ko ever since. I don’t think I have the heart to do politics,” dagdag pa niya.
Ngunit bukas naman siya sa pagsuporta sa mga taong may magagawa sa bansa, “Siyempre, mga pinaniwalaan mo. Ano ‘yung mga sinu-support mo because you want them to have the position to help the country.”
