Hindi rin daw bothered si Khalil kahit pa si Joshua Garcia ang bagong partner ni Gabbi sa Unbreak My Heart na collaboration project ng GMA Network, ABS-CBN Entertainment, and streaming app na Viu.
Sabi pa ni Gabbi, kahit kailan naman daw ay hindi naging seloso ang kanyang nobyo pagdating sa mga proyekto niya at ipinagpapasalamat daw niya ito.
“Number one, hindi seloso si Khalil talaga, Tito Boy, and I’m grateful for it. I’m really, really grateful for it because he understands.
Because he’s also an actor. Not just an actor, he’s a very good actor, and he really understands,” pahayag ni Gabbi.

“Yon ang isa sa mga pinakama-suwerte ako. And I’m really, really blessed because never siya naging conflict sa relationship namin at all,” pagmamalaki ng dalaga.
Patuloy niya, “Actually, we discussed each other’s projects. ‘Oh, we have this scene with this partner. This is the goal of the scene.’ ‘Okay. Alright.’ That’s it. Tapos na. End of story. We don’t even tell our story na, ‘Oh, may kissing scene kami ni…’ Wala.”
Nakakapagtaka naman kung bakit kailangan pang magpaalam ni Gabbi kay Julia Barretto noon na magiging magkatrabaho sila ng aktor. Si Julia ang ex-girlfriend ni Joshua pero matagal na silang hiwalay.
“Actually, I called her. When the project we mentioned to me, I called her. I also called her before I left for Europe,” pagtatapat ni Gabbi.
“Not for anything. It’s just, siguro, values ko lang din as a woman and as her friend. And I called her in respect. Delicadeza lang for me na, ‘Oh, I’m gonna be working with Josh for this project,” paliwanag pa niya.
Tinawanan lang daw naman siya ni Julia at sinabing hindi na niya kailangan pang humingi ng permiso dito.
“Natawa pa nga s’ya na, ‘Oh my God, Gabbi. You don’t have to call me. You don’t have to even tell me. Just go.’
“‘Wala lang,’ sabi ko. ‘I just want you to know para lang walang gulatan,’” katwiran daw niya kay Julia.
Anim na taon nang magkarelasyon sina Gabbi at Khalil. Napag-uusapan na ba nila ang tungkol sa kasal?
“Of course, we talk about it. I’m not gonna lie. The goal of the relationship is to sustain it,” sagot ng aktres.
Dagdag pa niya, si Khalil na raw ang maituturing niyang “the one.”
“No questions, no doubts, yeah,” paniniguo ni Gabbi.
