It was in 2023 that the KathNiel split was confirmed.

It broke many hearts and many were saddened as the real-life couple, and one of the most successful love teams in the entertainment industry, Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla have called it quits. It ended their over-a-decade relationship.

They have been together for so long that they belong in the same circle of friends. One of them is actress Sofia Andres and recently, the actress spoke about her friendship with them months after their split.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, she shared that she can still hang out with both of them but separately. Her partner Daniel Miranda is close to Padilla and they still hang out while she and Bernardo remained close.

In general, there’s no bad blood but as mentioned, she separately hangs out with them.

Andres respects both of them and whatever decisions they make in their lives. She maintains fairness for both of them. To recall, the three of them first worked together in “Princess and I”. This series was released in 2012 and this was also the first project of Andres with ABS-CBN.

She is really close with both of them, especially Kathryn, who was among the first people to know about her pregnancy in 2019.
