Atasha Muhlach: “Promise you, it works!”
Transitioning from an extensive skincare routine, Atasha Muhlach now strongly believes in the “less is more” approach to skincare: “A simple skincare is the best way to go because you will get to use the product more and you’ll actually reap the benefits of the product through consistent use araw-araw.”

Atasha Muhlach is undeniably one of showbiz’s most captivating beauties today.
Fortunately, she enjoys sharing her beauty secrets with everyone.
One of her favorite techniques takes inspiration from the “Rhode Method,” a popular skincare and makeup trick recently made popular by Hailey Bieber.
“It’s all about blending your skincare with your foundation,” Atasha shared during an interview on July 7, 2025.
This discussion came on the heels of her unveiling as the face of Cetaphil’s newest offering—the Gentle Exfoliation SA Cleanser and Lotion.

Expounding on her approach, Atasha shared: “What I like to do with my skincare is I like to mix it with my foundation.
“That way—because there’s this old saying that foundation will always cause you to breakout—so what I like to do is I would like to mix my skincare with my foundation for that dewy, natural, fresh look.
“And promise you, it works because even when you remove your makeup, you still get that refreshed feeling the whole day because there’s skincare on your foundation.”
Regarding the technique’s skincare benefits, she added, “It makes applying makeup so much easier and gives you a radiant glow.”
Atasha has been a firm believer in this makeup and skincare technique since her college days, long before it became a trend.
She recalled:Â “From experience, bilang a recent college student, ang dami kong trials and errors with my makeup.
“And even with work, sometimes I do my own makeup.
“Actually, I do my makeup most of the time so anything that would help me make my skin going and help my makeup really looking good, we’ll take that!”
ATASHA MUHLACH: KEEPING IT SIMPLE
This blend of skincare and makeup is a hack Atasha has embraced because it suits her preference for uncomplicated beauty routines.
Given her busy schedule, she values simplicity in her skincare, making this approach ideal for fitting in a routine without extra steps.
She explained, “My schedule, it’s always filled. Very hectic, but I’m very grateful for the opportunities that I have everytime…
“I’m always on the go that’s why I always want something simple.
“And being a very simple person, I don’t do many things on my skincare every day, especially when you’re super tired or when you’re about to wake and do your skincare.
“The more simple your skincare routine is, the more you’ll likely stick to it and the more follow it even for a long period of time.”
Atasha now mentions that she streamlines her skincare routine to just three or four steps, using only a few essential products.
“Before I used to have a very long process, where I would do cleanser, toner, moisturizer. Tapos I would add different serums to my face.
“But now, I don’t have to do that. All I have to do is just use this one bottle, and every thing is all done.
“Lahat ng sinabi ko kanina, that long list including the serums, I don’t need it anymore because I’ve been using the Cetaphil Salicylic cleanser.”
With he experiencing the benefits of the “less is more” approach, Atasha encourages everyone to adopt this beauty philosophy in their routines.
The 23-year-old Bad Genius star stated: “I advice a simple skincare routine all the time because that’s what helps you become consistent.
“Kahit sobrang pagod ka, or let’s say, you have to wake up super early tapos nagmamadali ka pa, promise!
“A simple skincare is the best way to go because you will get to use the product more and you’ll actually reap the benefits of the product through consistent use araw-araw.”
