Parokya ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda took to social media to share a touching story and photo from a quiet brunch with a special member of their household — his wife Neri Naig-Miranda’s longtime driver, Mang Din.

“Brunch at B Hotel,” Chito wrote, as he shared a photo of the two of them enjoying a breakfast buffet. He explained that after a gig in Quezon City and due to heavy rains, they decided to spend the night at their usual halfway house for safety. “Perfect halfway house talaga namin ’to eh… so instead na ipilit umuwi, nag-relax nalang kami ni Mang Din dito,” he said.
In his post, Chito went on to talk about Mang Din’s deep connection with Neri. “Actually, hindi pa kami magkakilala ni Neri, nagda-drive na sya for Neri,” he revealed. Even when Neri left showbiz and was struggling financially, Mang Din stayed by her side. “Ganun sya ka-loyal,” Chito emphasized.
Chito praised Mang Din as a hardworking and trustworthy man, known in their circle for being grumpy but deeply loved. “Pero okay lang haha sanay na kami at mahal na mahal sya ng pamilya at ng buong barkada namin,” he shared. The post ended on a humorous note, with Chito saying that when Mang Din retires, they plan to bring him to their farm — where he jokingly said Mang Din gets more affection from their dogs than he does.

In a previous report, Neri finally broke her silence over her controversial arrest. On March 21, Neri penned an emotional Instagram post about her ordeals in 2024. According to Neri, “Hindi ko talaga inakala na mapapasama ako sa Most Wanted sa Pilipinas.” She also lamented the fact that some even took advantage of her situation back then. Neri was eventually acquitted of all the charges.
Earlier, Chito Miranda shared on Instagram that he misses his family while touring with Parokya ni Edgar. The rock star said he feels grateful for their continued gigs but struggles with guilt and exhaustion from being away. Even during short breaks, he couldn’t fully enjoy time with loved ones due to errands and lack of rest. He posted an old photo with his family to express how much he cherishes being complete with them.
