Former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Shuvee Etrata shared that her trust issues make her wary of entertaining admirers, let alone considering the possibility of entering a serious romantic relationship.

Shuvee Etrata had nothing but kind words for suitor and fellow Sparkle artist, Anthony Constantino.

The former Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition housemate opened up about Anthony during a conversation with comedian-host Vice Ganda, which was uploaded on YouTube on Saturday, July 26, 2025.

Shuvee described Anthony as “mabait” and credited the hunky Filipino-American model for helping her develop a relationship with God.

“Yung pagdadala niya sa akin sa church, ang laking bagay. Kasi minsan, yung Sunday, I would rather just, you know, rest. Yung time na mini-make effort niya talaga ako para dalhin doon,” said Shuvee.

WHAT MADE ANTHONY STAND OUT

Shuvee was linked to Anthony following her exit from the PBB house on June 14, 2025.

There to fetch Shuvee and welcome her back to the outside world was Anthony, who brought flowers and patiently waited as the Cebuana host and content creator mingled with the crowd outside the PBB house.

Some netizens identified Anthony as Shuvee’s boyfriend, while others believe the two are still in the courting stage and not yet officially together.

In an interview with 24 Oras aired on June 20, Shuvee said that Anthony has been her suitor even before she entered the PBB house.

“Nanliligaw. Nanliligaw iyon bago [pa] ako pumasok,” Shuvee told reporter Aubrey Carampel.

Shuvee confided to Vice that she was initially skeptical of Anthony’s gestures, aware that men often put their best foot forward when trying to win someone’s heart.

“Malaking bagay rin na guwapo si Anthony,” Vice quipped, prompting a smiling Shuvee to reply, “Yun din, e.”

Shuvee openly admitted that she found Anthony attractive from the start, even confessing, “Ako ang unang nagka-crush, e.”

She continued excitedly, “Kasi nga crush ko si Donny [Pangilinan]. Sobrang crush ko si Donny, naghanap ako ng kamukha ni Donny.”

DEALING WITH BOYS AND ADMIRERS

Shuvee emphasized that she has never had a boyfriend, admitting she fears ending up in the wrong relationship.

This fear is rooted in her trust issues, which stem from what she witnessed in her parents’ volatile relationship.

But Shuvee did have suitors and guys who openly made their intentions to court her known.

At this point, Shuvee’s friend and fellow Kapuso star Ashley Ortega spilled that among those who reached out were two male talents from ABS-CBN.

“Sikat sila?” Vice asked Ashley.

“Oo, meme, sobra,” Ashley replied.

“Ano naramdaman mo nung…” Vice probed Shuvee.

Ashley replied, pointing to Shuvee, “Kinilig din ‘to.”

“Sobra! Nasira yung condo ko!” Shuvee said with a laugh, recalling how flustered she was the moment the Kapamilya actor started calling her on the phone.

Shuvee and the Kapamilya actor eventually met in person, but despite being flattered by the attention, she chose not to entertain the idea of having a romantic relationship with him.

“Kasi feeling nila taga-isla ‘tapos makuha agad nila yung virginity [ko],” reasoned Shuvee.

A surprised Vice jokingly reacted: “Ay, ganun talaga, virginity agad? Hindi puwede kung magtatanong lang kung magkano ang pearl sa isla ninyo? Hindi man lang magtatanong [kung] magkano banana boat sa inyo?”

“Okay, meme, let’s be real. Sometimes yun ang tingin ng lalake sa akin. Kaya nga yun yung gusto ko ipakita, dinede-value nila ako as a woman kasi feeling nila taga-probinsya kaya nilang loko-lokohin,” explained Shuvee.

“Kasi, meme, ako talaga it’s hard for me to trust, ‘di ba? Pero at the same time, gusto ko rin naman magmahal. Kasi non-negotiable sa akin ang sex.”

Shuvee added, “I don’t support premarital sex. You know, [yung] puwede mag-enjoy, magtikiman, ganun-ganun, hanggang sa mahanap mo yung gusto mo.

“Para sa akin naman, I don’t believe in that. Kasi bakit ka manggagamit ng ibang tao? Ibibigay mo yun ‘tapos you’re gonna make it easy for them to get you, and then hindi mo naman talaga yun bina-value e nabigay mo na.”
