Despite the lengthy duration without a romantic relationship, he expressed that he is entirely at ease with his situation.
Piolo, 48, shared that he prioritizes his personal growth and career over seeking a love life, highlighting that he is content and focused on his passions.
“Wala naman eh. May love life ba ako? (Nothing. Do I have a love life?) said Piolo when asked about his love life during an interview with Toni Gonzaga in his YouTube show “Toni Talks” recently.
Piolo continued: “Hindi ko na alam ang love life eh. Napaisip ako doon. The more you stay single, the more you’ll enjoy it, and the more you’ll not look for it. My love life is my career.”
Asked if he still wanted to be on a full commitment, Piolo answered: Not for now. I’m still young. I’m still busy with my career.
“It’s true. I love being single. I don’t see the point of being someone, especially now because I’m busy with work. I’m always with friends, with my family.
“It’s not something I look for because I’m used to it. Nasanay na eh,” said Piolo.
Toni recalled that Bossing Vic Sotto, who married Pauleen Luna in 2016, mentioned to her that growing old without anyone to care for him was becoming difficult. After hearing Toni’s comment, Piolo said: “I suddenly got sad.”

Piolo, who has also been tapped as the newest celebrity endorser for the Lee Jeans brand, was asked about his non-negotiables regarding accepting roles and endorsement.
“I have to believe in what I do. I have to know that I do something not just because of the money but because it will make me and help me grow as a person and an artist,” said the hunk actor.
On his secret to staying relevant in showbiz, Piolo said: “Commitment to the craft is the most important thing, as being open to evolution and not resting on your laurels.
Always look for something challenging and get you out of your comfort zone. The biggest challenge is making the audience interested in you.”
